Outside of real estate, much of my time is consumed with family, church and the community.  As a volunteer staff member for the high school ministry at Southwest Community Church, I help lead games and table discussions on Sunday mornings. Facilitating a "small group" for high school boys during the week has been challenging yet rewarding experience.  Getting plugged in opens a lot of doors for amazing opportunities to serve the local community as well as communities abroad. The summer of 2009 I'll be serving on a two week mission trip in Fortaleza, Brazil, where I'll be teaching computer basics to teenage boys at the Davis Lahr Orphanage.
